Classes
Adult Ballet
- These ballet classes are designed for adult students of all levels of training, from former dancers/professionals to adults who are looking to start their formal dance training for the first time. Emphasis in class will be on correct body alignment/placement, strength and flexibility, and providing formal training in the foundations of classical ballet.
Adult Belly Dance
- Belly dance is a traditional dance from Middle East or Arabian countries and has a long history. This is a dancing art that shows its femininity, in terms of sweet, gentle, beautiful but also strong makes it unique. Most of belly dance style will separate in small muscles and work out to control on each muscle separately (hips, shoulders, belly, and etc.) Some parts of belly dance style are similar to jazz and ballet, but belly dance is more concentrated with smaller muscles. Belly dance is an exercise that focused on partial movement, but the whole body is working out, so you will get firmer and stronger upper arms, hips, shoulders, upper legs and etc. In other words, you will get a shaped body. Perfect for beginners and experienced dancers; all are welcome!
Ages 17-adult.
All Levels Aerial Yoga
- Designed for those new to aerial yoga (ages 17 and up), this class is intended to introduce new students to basic inversions and aerial yoga postures & techniques, while engaging experienced aerial yoga students.
Aerial Yoga uses a medium hanging, wide aerial silk hung like a hammock to aid traditional yoga postures by supporting the body weight. When part of the body is supported in the aerial sling, you are able to alleviate the pressure in the joint and relax into a more passive stretch. In this class, you will get to use the hammocks to go upside down in safe and supported inversions.
It is recommended that all beginners start with a few sessions of Beginner Aerial Yoga. Experienced aerial yoga students are welcome.
All Levels Mat Yoga
- All level flow class with a focus on breath and movement. This class offers accessible alignment cues to engage any student. In addition to asana (posture), classes include opportunities for pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. All bodies are welcome.
Adult Contemporary Dance
- Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres, including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
All ages welcome and no experience is required.
Beginner Aerial Yoga
- Beginner Aerial Yoga uses a wide aerial sling hung like a hammock to aid traditional yoga postures by supporting your body weight. When part of your body is supported in the aerial sling, you are able to alleviate the pressure in the joint and relax into a more passive stretch. In this class, you will get to use the slings to go upside down in safe and supported inversions.
This class is designed for those new to aerial yoga (teen ages 13 and up). This class is intended to introduce new students to basic aerial yoga postures & techniques, and introduction to inversions.
Candlelight Yoga
- A relaxing mat yoga class combining gentle vinyasa along with some restorative & yin poses. A wonderful way to relieve the stress of the day, end a long day or start off a new week!! A candle lit ambient class of yoga, gently concentrating on flexibility, deep stretching, core strength and a gentle relaxing of the mind.
Gentle Mat Yoga & Meditation
- A gentle, slower vinyasa yoga class with an emphasis on mindfulness and meditation, featuring more seated and supported postures. This class is intuitively sequenced and creatively delivered to emphasize fluidity & steady breath, improving relaxation, flexibility and recovery. To finish, class winds down with a guided meditation focusing on mindfulness, following the breath or imagery and extended savasana. Especially well-suited for those with pain, trouble sleeping, anxiety or high levels of stress..
HIIT Dance Fitness
- High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Dance Fitness class combines intense, short cardio, strength and conditioning exercise with intervals of dance influenced recovery. Work to increase strength, speed and endurance throughout your entire body. This class will help you get firmer and stronger upper arms, hips, shoulders, upper legs and etc. In other words, you will get a shaped body.
Perfect for beginners and experienced dancers; all are welcome!
Intermediate Aerial Yoga
- Intermediate Aerial Yoga uses a wide aerial silks hung like a hammock to aid traditional yoga postures by supporting the body weight. When part of the body is supported in the aerial silk, you are able to alleviate the pressure in the joint and relax into a more passive stretch. In this class, you will get to use the silks to go upside down in safe and supported inversions. This class is for experienced aerial yoga students and moves at a faster pace. Students are required to have attended at least five All Levels Aerial Yoga classes and attain instructor approval.
Restorative Aerial Yoga
- Restorative Aerial Yoga is a slow and gentle practice that emphasizes relaxation with gentle stretching and movement using a low slung hammock. In contrast to the more active aerial yoga practices, Restorative Aerial Yoga has less asanas, held for longer. Restorative Aerial Yoga is more meditative and restorative than flow-based aerial yoga, focusing on cultivating mindfulness, stimulating the flow of energy in the body and relaxing the spirit.
